Defender Philip Awuku Gameli is back from suspension and has been included in the 18-man squad to make the trip to Akosombo on Wednesday.
The center-back, who turns 20 next month, was sent off for dissent in the 2-0 home loss to Vision FC in the match day 7 fixture at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman.
Gameli was hit with a five-game ban and fined USD$110 for his conduct. He has missed a string of games including the team’s fine stretch of three game unbeaten run.
As an internal measure to keep up the discipline of the entire team an additional one match ban was slapped on the player’s head for his conduct during the game and has also been taken through an internal programme of proper conduct on the field of play.
He has been provisionally included in the 18-man squad for the game against Palace in Akosombo.
In his absence Samuel Johnson has formed a solid partnership with Vitus Yamoah at the backline which means head coach Emmanuel Bulley would have a big selection headache.
